To report a scam to UK authorities directly, use Report Fraud for England, Wales and Northern Ireland, or Police Scotland on 101 for Scotland. Ofcom says suspicious SMS texts can be forwarded to 7726 free of charge; use the relevant app's own reporting tool for non-SMS messages.
